Patient Information
We are excited to welcome you to our office, and we genuinely appreciate the trust you place in us for your dental care. Choosing a new dentist is an important step toward maintaining your overall health and wellness, and we created this Patient Information section to help you understand exactly what to expect at your first visit.
At your first appointment at our Oakville dental office, our goal is to make your experience comfortable, positive, and stress-free. We will take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your goals, and acknowledge your unique dental needs. No matter what questions you may have, our team is committed to answering them thoroughly and clearly.
We also encourage you to be an active participant in your treatment planning. Using advanced diagnostic technology—including high-definition intraoral cameras, low-radiation digital X-rays, HD monitors, and visual communication tools—we can show you what we see and explain the condition of your teeth and gums. We truly believe that knowledge is empowering, and our aim is to help you make confident, informed decisions about your oral health.
All financial arrangements will be reviewed clearly and agreed upon before any treatment begins. We know that no one likes surprises when it comes to their dental care or their bill—and neither do we. Transparency, comfort, and trust are at the heart of your first visit and every visit after.
What to Bring to Your First Visit
To help us make your first appointment as smooth and efficient as possible, please bring the following with you:
-
A list of any medications you are currently taking (or the bottles).
-
Any dental insurance information (cards or policy numbers).
-
If you have had recent dental X-rays (within the last 6–12 months), you are welcome to bring them or have your previous dentist forward them to us.
If you prefer, you may complete our registration and medical background forms online before your visit, to save time at check-in.
Billing & Insurance
We aim to make billing as simple and transparent as possible. At the end of each appointment, we will provide you with a clear breakdown of the fees and any procedures performed. If you have dental insurance benefits, we are happy to submit claims on your behalf — we offer direct billing to most major plans.
Please note: you remain financially responsible for any portion not covered by your insurance. Before treatment begins, we’ll review with you exactly what portions are likely to be covered and what you may need to pay out of pocket. Payment is due at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
We accept major payment methods including Visa, MasterCard, Debit (Interac), and cash. For patients without insurance, we offer 0%-interest payment plans (for qualified clients), and we also provide senior discounts to help make treatment more affordable.
