Meet Dr. Mathew Amen
Oakville Dentist
Dr. Mathew Amen originally from Milton, Ontario, is known for his warm personality and the big smile he brings to every patient interaction.
He earned his dental degree from Charles Sturt University in Australia, where he graduated with distinction and was honored with the Dean’s Award for three consecutive years in recognition of his academic and clinical excellence.
Dr. Amen is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is known for his calm, respectful approach that helps foster trust and lasting relationships. He offers comprehensive dental services with a particular focus on surgery and implant dentistry—areas he finds especially rewarding. His interest in advanced procedures has also led him to participate in implant research, with a commitment to contributing further to the field.
To stay at the forefront of dentistry, Dr. Amen continuously pursues professional development through advanced training and continuing education.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys an active lifestyle and can often be found playing soccer, golf, squash, or lifting weights.
Meet Dr. Max Dawabsheh
Oakville Dentist
Dr. Max discovered his passion for dentistry at a young age while spending time in his mother’s dental clinic. Surrounded by the world of patient care and hands-on treatment, he was inspired to follow in her footsteps and pursue a career that combined science, precision, and a deep sense of service.
Dr. Max is known for his patient-centered approach, prioritizing trust, comfort, and long-term relationships. He believes that every smile is unique and takes the time to truly understand each patient’s needs, providing individualized treatment plans and thorough education to help them make confident, informed decisions about their oral health.
He has a strong focus on aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, combining art and science to help patients achieve beautiful, natural-looking smiles. Dr. Max holds degrees from Jordan University of Science and Technology and Edith Cowan University in Australia. He recently completed advanced training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry at the University of Minnesota, further enhancing his expertise in smile design, veneers, and cosmetic restoration.
Dedicated to professional excellence, Dr. Max continually updates his skills through ongoing education and hands-on training. His gentle chairside manner, attention to detail, and commitment to modern techniques have earned the trust of patients of all ages.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Max enjoys staying active and giving back to his community. He is passionate about mentorship, lifelong learning, and helping every patient feel confident in their smile.
Amber Bowes, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Amber has been with our team as a registered dental hygienist since our opening in 2016-2017. She is a graduate from the 3-year Advanced Dental Hygiene program at Georgian College in Barrie and is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.
Amber is really passionate about her job and loves interacting with her patients and helping them achieve excellent oral health. She is known for being gentle and making sure her patients are always comfortable. She stays current with continuing dental education classes, a commitment she takes seriously to helping patients maintain their dental health. Quality patient care is very important to her and being sure that patients receive the absolute best care while with her is one of her top priorities.
In her free time, Amber likes spending time with her family, going on road trips, traveling, hiking, and has a great passion for food.
Lindsey Nguyen, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Lindsey graduated from Georgian College in Barrie, and is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association as well as an associate member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.
Lindsey’s friendly and professional approach ensures that every patient receives outstanding care. When her work is finished and her patient’s smile shows confidence and happiness, Lindsey is incredibly happy with the quality of her work. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages; whether it’s your initial visit or a return appointment, Lindsey’s goal is to make you feel valued and well-cared for as a member of the Bronte Road Family Dental community.
During her leisure time, Lindsey prioritizes spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys traveling and cooking with her husband.
Sabeen Ahmed, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Sabeen is a gentle and thorough dental hygienist who is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain lifelong oral health. With a warm smile and a calming presence, Sabeen ensures every visit is both comfortable and informative.
She believes that education is a key part of preventive care and takes the time to explain oral hygiene techniques and personalized recommendations. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge they need to keep their smiles healthy between visits.
Emily Tavares
Dental Assistant
Emily Tavares is our hardworking Level II dental assistant here at Bronte Road Family Dental. She graduated from George Brown college’s dental assisting program in 2023. She is very passionate about her work and goes above and beyond to make sure patients feel comfortable and safe during procedures.
When Emily is not working, she loves to travel, go for walks, and spend time with her loved ones
Daniella Fernando
Dental assistant
Daniella is one of our caring dental assistants.
Daniella graduated with honors from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and is currently a student at McMaster University completing her B.Sc Honors in Life Sciences degree. She is gaining useful experience at Bronte Road Family Dental in order to further her career in dentistry. She enjoys learning from the team and talking to patients.
In her free time she’s either studying, tutoring students, or hanging out with family and friends, but her favorite thing in the world is spoiling her dog!
Saadat Khan
Dental assistant
Saadat Khan is a dedicated and compassionate dental assistant who plays an essential role in ensuring each patient’s visit is smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. With a calm demeanor and strong attention to detail, Saadat helps create a welcoming environment where patients feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door.
Saadat works closely with the dental team to support a wide range of procedures, from routine checkups to more complex treatments. He is highly skilled in patient care, sterilization protocols, chairside assisting, and maintaining clinical efficiency—all while keeping patient comfort a top priority.
Carina Cerminara
Office manager
Carina grew up in Oakville surrounded by her friends and family.
Her problem solving, attention to detail and social nature brought her to our office where she strives to bring a smile to each patient’s face and make their experience with us as pleasant as can be. Carina is known for finding the best options possible for patients’ specific needs and finding the best solutions to their problems.
Outside of the office she loves to go on hikes, cook/bake for her family, and play with her dogs.

Sierra Collins is the warm, welcoming face who greets you as you enter our office. As our dental receptionist and patient care ambassador, she’s dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.
